When Cabela's corporate left Sidney, Doug, an electrician there and one of the last to go, could have retired. Instead he went back to school to become a certified bike mechanic, and with Vickey turned an abandoned gas station into the town's full-service bike shop, carrying on her dad's dream of a real mom-and-pop corner shop.
